<sec>Electric phenomena and magnetic are inseparable. The field affects the ionization balance spatial distribution of plasma. A new type plasma discharges has been found in nitrogen gas under sub atmospheric pressure condition without external field. Because its regular helical propagation pattern, it is called (HP) plume. Although a great deal research carried out on key characteristics HP plume, formation mechanism remains unclear, which applications materials nanotechnology.</sec><sec>By applying to with different chirality, regulation behavior studied. It that will make shrink or stretch. With intensity increasing from 0 mT 200 mT, left-handed plume stretches S-pole. Conversely, chiral contracts when pole changes N-pole. However, chirality changed being right-handed by adjusting voltage, phenomenon opposite previous one observed. Moreover, applied also divergence HP. increase S-pole field, until reaches 80 mT. When disappears. quartz tube appears divergent form. 160 form helix again. Finally, process changing clarity change.</sec><sec>The radial electric calculated electromagnetic wave theory, influence clarified. force component Lorentz responsible for regulating behavior. This study lays theoretical foundation understanding motion HP, conducive practical nanotechnology.</sec>
